Boy in the Water Season 3 open now

The first episode in the latest season of hit podcast The Boy in the Water is now available for non-subscribers, with subsequent episodes to follow every few days.
The Boy in the Water is an award-winning investigative podcast about a small town harbouring a big mystery, led by Newsroom’s investigations editor Melanie Reid.
The second phase of the coronial inquest into the death of Gore toddler Lachlan Jones began this week and Reid is covering the proceedings for season three of The Boy in the Water.
It coincides with the launch of Newsroom’s new podcast channel, DELVE.
DELVE will be the home of Newsroom’s in-depth podcasts, including all three seasons of The Boy in the Water and a brand-new Melanie Reid investigation due for release in September.
Listeners can subscribe to DELVE to get early and ad free access to each episode as it is released, with episodes released to non-subscribers a few days later.
DELVE will also feature podcast investigations from Newsroom’s stable of experienced journalists, ensuring regular offerings through the year for listeners.
The Boy in the Water won best podcast and best investigation at this year’s Voyager Media Awards and has garnered more than 2.5 million downloads since season one was published last year.
