This interfacing is used to make the smooth waistband, purse straps, cuffs or other items that require a clean fold.The center line is meant to be folded and the outer lines as a sewing guide.
The finished width is approximately 1 inch.
Since there were no instructions with this product, I contacted the Pellon Company and they gave me the following instructions:
The fusible side is the shiny side.Place this on the wrong side or back of your waistband fabric. Cover with a damp cloth and press down firmly in place for approximately 10 seconds. Use your iron at a wool setting.
With right sides together, sew along the narrow seam allowance, turn and fold.
