About this case:
Exotic Zebrawood marble case handcrafted to hold twenty three playing marbles that are 5/8” or 19/32”.
It measures 7-3/8” x 3-1/8” x 1-1/4” so it is easily carried in a pocket, purse or satchel. The brass hinges allow the case to open 180° and lie flat when open. The thumb lift is rosewood and the holes are lined with dark brown flocking.  THE MARBLES IN THE ACCOMPANYING PHOTOS ARE NOT FOR SALE.  Purchase price is for the case only.

I use only the finest materials and each case is carefully handcrafted from a single piece of select hardwood to ensure that the top and bottom match for color, grain pattern and figure.
The wood is finished with multiple coats of an oil/varnish mixture that protects the wood as well as bringing out the beauty of the wood’s grain & figure. The finely finished brass hinges are made by Brusso and carefully mortised into the case to ensure smooth opening and closing. The marbles sit in round bottomed holes appropriately sized to securely hold them in position yet allow easy removal. The holes are flocked in rayon fibers that cushion the marbles and protect them from any possibility of scratching or wear. The top and bottom are held closed by two strong rare earth magnets that prevent the box from opening accidentally, even if dropped. Every case includes a thumb lift made of a contrasting hardwood that is inset into the case’s top that allows easy opening of the tightly closed case.
