This bulb is used widely in warning lights and instruments. It is the bulb needed for instance, for the Durite Symbol Warning lights.
The features of this bulb are that -
a) the glass cover is short, so it does not touch and 'burn' the inner face of the symbol when fitted.
b) the glass diameter is equal to or less than the base.
c) the base does not flare out where it meets the glass.
Bulbs which do not meet these requirements will not fit the Durite symbol warning lamps.
Ratings available are as follows -
12v 2watt Pt.no. BAS912A
24v 2watt Pt.no. BAS924A
