    Description

    Antique White Border Postcard circa 1915-1929 of NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE. Standard size 5.5” x 3.5”. Postally unused. Shows the IMAMEUL P. E. CHURCH which was founded in 1689. There is a CEMETERY GRAVEYARD clearly visible in the front of the church which you can bet has some very old TOMBSTONES! COLONIAL New Castle is a small town and is very historical. It is known to be one of the most important colonial/Federal villages in America (second only to Williamsburg!)! It is also the oldest continuously occupied town in the whole Delaware Valley!! Great SMALL TOWN AMERICA postcard with major HISTORICAL significance!! In good condition according to postcard rating system due to worn corners, a minor creases in the upper right hand corner, and barely noticeable discoloration along the borders which are not detrimental to its overall appearance. Please see photo and you be the judge. Shipped with USPS First Class. I will be happy to combine postcards into one shipment. Please contact me before paying for multiple lots. I will then send you a combined invoice with the appropriate shipping fees. I base shipping costs on the buyers zip code. I use very low weight (but protective) shipping materials in an effort to reduce shipping costs. For single postcard purchases, you can choose .75 cents for postage, but there will be no tracking # included. This is called a non-machinable letter and is handled in such a way so to not bend it. Please understand that if you choose this option you are making an informed decision to take the risk that should your package get lost, there will be no way to track it and I the seller am not to blame (in terms of giving me negative feedback). I will, however, refund you the full price of the postcard and shipping in the rare event that this happens. The other option is to pay .15 for a First Class Package with tracking. These are the only two options the post office gave me. On multiple postcard orders, please wait until you hear from me before paying as there are several factors that go into calculated shipping on volume pricing. Please do send me your zip code as soon as you can after making a multiple postcard order, however. I would greatly appreciate that as that will be a factor in calculating shipping costs.
