Akro Agate No. 0 Marble Box W/100 Prize Names, Specials W/Original Paperwork HTF.
Up for consideration is a vintage Akro Agate No. 0 Assorted Prize Name Box of 100 marbles.
Comes with 2 pieces of original paperwork (for an akro agate prize contest asking for slogans to be turned in 5/1/1931 and a postcard to request for advertising material.)
Box appears to have original dividers and contains mostly prize names & specials. Marbles appear to be in very good condition (though some are a bit dirty) and have been stored in the box while it’s been in my grandmothers possession for the last 40 or so years.
Box has some age related wear as shown in photos; some staining/fading to the outside of the box, loose/damaged corners x1 on the top piece of the box (bottom left corner) and x1 on the bottom piece (top right corner.) One marble in the box is a patch, otherwise to my knowledge the marbles are original though some rows don’t have perfectly matching marbles.
Marbles will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap separately from the box & the box will be secured in a second box for shipment; sent priority mail w/insurance & signature confirmation.
