    Description

    This is the most simple and affordable jig model without sacrificing quality.
    The jig is built for knife making for grinding bevel angles on a knife blade and blank grinding.
    Using the jig
    relieves
    strain from the hands and improves grinding precision.
    The jig is manufactured by a knife-making  and top-level industrial grinding equipment master Alexander Shengur using precision machining and assembly techniques.

    All the parts and contact surfaces are surface ground and closely fitted to provide maximum perpendicularity that influences the final shape of the blade.
    Bottom is polished, slides smoothly on working table.
    Powder coated to prevent corrosion.
    Verified by professional bladesmiths.

    Jig material - 6 mm AISI 1045 steel, tempered for hardness to minimize wear, polished and powder coated.
    Clamp - Aluminum 5052 alloy, hard tempered.

    Usage
    Attach the blade blank to the jig with the clamp when grinded edge is facing up.
    Set the desired angle using the set screw handle.
    Grind moving side to side.
    For cooling the blank drilling fluid or water with dish soap may be used to avoid corrosion.
