Want to make you own coasters for yourself or a gift? These 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" pre-cut squares of Insul-Bright batting are ideal for any making your own heat resistant coasters.
You receive One Hundred (100) pre-cut squares, each 4-1/2" x 4-1/2"", of Insul-Bright needle punched insulated batting, enough to make many sets of coasters. Combine this with a layer of thin cotton batting like Warm and Natural or Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 to make a great heat resistant coaster.
These squares are especially convenient as there is nothing to cut and you don't have to buy and store a large bulky quantity of batting. They arrive ready to use so you can have fun with your project. Make a few for yourself to coordinate with your kitchen or give them away as a housewarming, birthday, or Christmas gift.
Insul-Bright is a heat resistant material that consists of polyester fibers, needle-punched through a reflective metalized polyester film. The needled material is breathable and won't break down with washing. The polyester fibers resist conduction while the reflective metalized polyester film reflects radiant energy, hot or cold, back to its source.
NOTE:  Insul~Bright is not recommended for microwave use!
